叶茵(一一九九?~?)(生年据本集卷三《己酉生日敬次靖节先生拟挽歌辞三首》、《既次韵或非之作解嘲》“衰龄踰五十”推算),字景文,笠泽(今江苏苏州)人。曾出仕,“十年不调”(本集卷二《参选有感》),退居邑同里镇,筑顺适堂,以杜甫诗“洗然顺所适”得名。与陈起等有唱酬。有《顺适堂吟稿》五卷。事见清同治《苏州府志》卷四八。 叶茵诗,以清顾氏读画斋刊本爲底本,校以汲古阁影宋钞本(简称汲古阁本)。新辑集外诗附于卷末。
