1. 速率：如果一出喜闹剧想一直逗我们大笑,我们顶多笑十分钟左右就没有力气与兴趣笑下去了. 所以,情节的发展应该起起伏伏,像交响乐一般富有速率(tempo)和节奏(rhythm)的变化,最后达到高潮,如图b,才会令人欣赏(假定全戏分为五幕或五场):
